Hello! I am currently taking Library Information Technology courses at Palomar College. I am a mother of three school-aged children and a military spouse. I travel a lot, have lived in a lot of different places and experienced a lot. I enjoy the process of learning and appreciate the benefits to be gained from having a wide knowledge base. Libraries have always been a favorite place for me and I love to read. I believe that library science is important to understand in order to recognize and help others to see the value and place that libraries have in all societies.

I consider myself a geek and lover of books. Libraries have always been a calming, safe place for me. I realized later in life that it would be awesome to be a librarian. I can't believe I didn't think of it sooner. I am currently LOVING my job as a Library Media Technician and a public Middle School.
